Just popping in to invite you to a LIVE Zoom hangout tomorrow at:
12PM PST MAY 21ST, 2020
In full transparency, this is a TEST. I will be art journaling and chatting whilst also learning how to competently navigate Zoom as a host. There will most probably be a few hiccups here and there, but I feel like we’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly and it will be super casual and great fun to hangout and learn together!
I can host up to 100 people on the call so please be there on time as I can’t guarantee you’ll be able to jump in if we hit capacity (a long shot, but just wanted to mention it).
If you have never been on Zoom before, please familiarize yourself with this Zoom Etiquette video below. The video is a little much to be honest, I would just suggest to log on and keep yourself on “MUTE” unless you’re asking a question or participating in a show & tell. We will cover that at the beginning of the call and I will give reminders if it’s an issue as well, but “MUTE” is a big part of Zooming… haha
I am unable to give you better Zoom advice than is already available through a quick Google search, so if you have any other questions about Zoom, please take a moment to Google those answers before noon.
I will also try to record the hangout. If you’re not comfortable being seen or heard and want to Zoom “fly-on-the-wall” style, that is perfectly fine too - you can always use the chat feature if you still wish to engage with our community.
